Port Vila Municipal Council is warning developers in the
city that as from January 1, 2015 it will not tolerate developments
in the urban area that do not have the approval of the municipality
council.

The Manager of Town Planning of the Council, Jerry Sampson,
says that since the declaration of the Port Vila physical planning
area in 1988 a lot of work has been going on in the Port Vila urban
area without regard for the law.
