Hm, all ASUS SocketA Boards revert to "safe mode" (100MHz FSB) when plugging in a
different CPU.

Normally, they should enter the Bios with the CPU Option highlighted right at the first
start then.

Just recheck that the FSB is set to 133MHz, otherwise you end up running your AthlonXP
2200+ (1800MHz) at only 1350MHz.
