Running anything that requires full time 100% processor is a genuinely
rotten idea on any notebook. The itty-bitty fans will run full time
at full speed and fail within months, if not weeks.
Nonsense. I've been running S@H for three years on a
Dell Latitude laptop 24/7. I've also been running S@H
on a 1.8 GHz P4 Toshiba laptop for six months 24/7.
Having said that, I did manage to kill the hard drive
on a Sony VAIO 1.0 GHz P3 by running S@H 24/7. This
says more about the quality of the computer than the
ability to run S@H, IMO.
