Just an observation on WU times under different M$ OSs.
I've just changed from Win98SE to Win2Kpro, to bring one
of the PCs on my peer-to-peer network to the same OS as
the main machine. Under the same hardware, etc, the system
is taking about 5% longer per WU.
Any others with a similar observation?
Yeah, I'd agree with that observation for WUs over 0.2 AR - under that Win2k
will beat Win98SE by a mile. (ie. Win2k is up to 25% faster for VLARs.)
