And congratulations are due you for it! Just don't be suprised when
parts start to fail. The hard drive is not designed for continous
access and the fans are small and the heat dispersion is minimal.
Laptops are not designed for long term use. They are designed as an
accessory to a desktop unit. So you can take your data with you but
turn it off when you are back at your regular space.
Your results are not typical and your continued use of the laptop will
be detrimental to its health. But it is your laptop and you do have
the right to use it as you please.
