I don't get it, I just renamed the unpacked setiathome Binary to seti
(on a Windows machine), and moved it to the machine via Samba Share
running on it. That sure should not possibly modify the Binary (?)

I'll give it one more shot, see if I can fix it (this time I will
transfer it via FTP, hope this helps) :p
Very odd, since I used the very same technique for 2 other Irix
Machines, and one Linux machine at well, and these run without
problems.

Have you tried sending the results directly to S@H? See if you get the same 
response from the S@H server (although the SQ should be simply passing 
information.)  You just may get a different result.
