No, in short. 

If you plan to use a Xeon, use it in a dual CPU configuration. Problem
is you are in to server and workstation MoBos (and costs),

Advantage, if using hyper threading Xeons (from the 2.0 Ghz Xeon and up)
under an OS that can recognise and use HT, then you can safely run 4 S@H
versions at the same time.

My dual Xeon 2.8 can crunch a standard AR (0.417) WU in about 2.25
hours, and when running 4 versions of S@H the time rises to an average
of 3.25 hours. This means my PC box produces 24/3.25 x 4 = 29.5 WUs per
day). But the system costs a little dosh!

John, can you specify your setup a little bit?
cuz im running two servers with dual 2.8 xeons and im not getting
anywhere near you results. Im running windows server 2003, cli 3.03
with standard settings for affinity and priority and im doing about
5h01m average based on 771 wu's. Number are from running 4 versions at
the same time ofcourse.
