G'day all,

I just got given an old 166(?) that I am about to clean up & see if it
works.
A mate says that he will put on Linux for me so that SETI will run faster.
I remember a while ago that a few people were saying that WINE was the way
to go.

Now, I know absolutely nothing about Linux & a mate will do this for me ;-)
Is WINE a flavour of Linux or something that runs in Linux?

Or better still, what is the best OS to SETI running the most efficiently?
What is the best SETI manager for this OS?

I currently am using XP & Setigate on my other 2 PC's, in which I am happy
with.
