What does a biological imperative to reproduce have to do with interstellar
colonization? I say that a species that fails to inhibit their biological
imperative to reproduce would be reduced to a malthusian overpopulation
disaster and not be able to assemble the wealth and knowledge needed to
construct interstellar colonization ships.
