I have no idea but in my line of work, anti virus is an important aspect. As a 4+ year SETI
member, I would know of *ANY* virus connection with SETI. There is NONE associated with
Klez. You may be infected and since SETI runs in the background, it is infected. What AV
software is your "friend" using ?
