I have to agree with Jim. There was no call for Dave's rude post. Robert
may be interested in helping the SETI team for a thesis and/or post-doc
studies. Robert, may I suggest (politely) that you email Berkeley for their
quals? Seeing as how SETI deals mainly with radio telescopes, a background
in radio electronics/engineering and astronomy might be helpful. Just my 2
cents, flame away.
