Shaggy,
The -verbose option just shows the start-up conditions, then strings of
results from the crunching. Other than curiosity, or seeing if other
programs might visibly slow your progress (probably not), I do not see a
real value from it. Still, it is your option.
Assuming Windows, create a short-cut to the cmdclient, then right-click
it, and select Properties. On the Target line, after the program name,
after the .EXE just type in a space and the option that you want, in this
case -verbose
Close the Properties window. Stop the client, and click on the shortcut
to re-start it using the -verbose option.
It's done about the same in a DOS environment, minus all of the window
dressing. :-)
I believe that most teams are seeking new members, except maybe for the
corporation teams. Check out their web pages to be sure. Look here:

I have just installed Seti cmdclient 3.08 and have crunched 2 Wu's in the
last three days (could have been better but had some system maintenance to
do) is that average?
I have a few other ?'s to ask
Should I use the -verbose option?
If I do how do I input it to the client?
Is there any benefits to being on a team?
How Do I join?
And Is there any teams out there looking for more members?
that's all for now but I'm sure I'll have a few more in a few days
