In article <Mbb5b.257236$It4.120586@rwcrnsc51.ops.asp.att.net>, Shaggy72
@bresnan.net says...
I have just installed Seti cmdclient 3.08 and have crunched 2 Wu's in the
last three days (could have been better but had some system maintenance to
do) is that average?

I have a few other ?'s to ask
Should I use the -verbose option?
If I do how do I input it to the client?
Is there any benefits to being on a team?
        How Do I join?
And Is there any teams out there looking for more members?

that's all for now but I'm sure I'll have a few more in a few days

There are a couple of useful add-ons for the SETI CLI namely SETI Spy
and SETI Driver both of which can be found on the SETI web page along
with detailed instructions on setting them up to work together. In short
SETI Driver allows you to download and cache multiple WUs & SETI Spy
will keep you up to date with your progress.

As for teams, there are literally thousands of them, some with thousands
of members some with only one or two. There are links to many team sites
on the SETI webpages, so take a look around and see if any appeal.

Happy Crunching,

Jim
