If you tell SETISpy not to close the client on exit first, SETI Driver and
the CLI will keep on plugging while you upgrade SETISpy.
Yshhhh,,,,,!!! Last week I was busy and just thanked everyone for their
responses, and threw them in a folder, after a cursory glance. Now after
examining the responses, all I can say is, DUHHH.
This is worst than RTFM. New mantra: Think the problem through for
a while, before firing off a post. Second new Mantra: Think the problem
through TWICE, before firing off posts at 2:00 A.M!
You are absolutely right. Except for it's use, and configuration to control
SetiDriver, SetSpy is simply a monitoring tool. SetiDriver allows complete
stand-alone caching and control of the CLI. SetiDriver works so well
'transparently' in the background, that I got used to using SetSpy as a
'front-end' for lack of a better term, forgetting SetiDriver is the actual
control utility of the CLI's.
O.K...'nuff wasted B/W on this one.
