Subject: How to diagnose Dual CPU (Linux) ?

Since last night, my Linux Dual Box (AthlonMP 2000+) started delivering only ~50%
performance.

Since I only monitor it via SetiWatch, the actual MFlops and runtime figures are normal
(since only the actual CPU cycles given are measured by the Linux Client).

But the actual time I have to wait for the results have about doubled, leaving me
questioning if one CPU may have malfunctioned or failed somehow (?)

Odd thing is, that the Bios does not report any errors, and all Parameters appear
completely normal (as usual, nothing changed).
Before I left home for 2 weeks, the Box was running 100% perfect, and nothing was changed
obivously (?)

Since the Linux Client does not allow fixed CPU allocation, I can't troubleshoot which CPU
might be 'out' , is there a quick and dirty way to see if both CPU's are running at normal
performance ?
(I had a quick look at "Top", but it looked normal, although I'm not very experienced with
Linux; there might be more Options to it than I know of)

OS is Mandrake 9.1 ...
