where did u get lindows from ? and how much was it?

You can get almost any version of Linux for free, and legally install the
same copy on as many computers as you like.

I switched from Windows to Mandrake Linux last month, and I am very
pleased with it. I'm triple booting 98SE, W2K, and Mandrake 9.1 so I
haven't lost anything by switching. There is a bit of a learning curve,
but for me it was worth it.

Here is a site with links to downloads of many versions of Linux, however
Lindows is not included.

Lycoris Linux is said to look very similar to Windows XP, and it's ease of
use is said to be very similar to Lindows. You might also consider
Mandrake, which compared to Lindows and Lycoris is a more standard and
popular Linux version. It has a well developed GUI, and also has its own
newsgroup, alt.os.linux.mandrake.
