my liver transplant on September 3. Everything went as planned with the surgery (thank goodness, I don't remember anything about it!) and I am recuperating in St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. According to
my
doctors I am making really good progress. More from me later!Hi everyone, I'm just popping in to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me getting a new liver through their words of encouragement, kind wishes, and donations. As Gary posted, I am making good progress and hope to be released from hospital this week. I can already walk around around at a pretty good speed (compared to the other patients, that is), but I still have a long way to go to get back to my fitness level before I got sick. However, that serves as a good motivation to me to recuperate quickly. I will post further health updates to the SETI Spy website at http://cox-internet.com/setispy. Best regards, Roelof
