for the 'average' WU in the AR of about 0.45, I get around 5h 25m for a PIII
1.2GHz l/t with 640Megs of pc133. I could get around 8h 33m from a PIII
750MHz l/t with 512Megs of pc100. A (non-hyperthreading 'cos it's 133/533)
2.8GHz P4 with 1Gig of pc2100 DDR weighs in at around 3h 08m. An Athlon
@1.4GHz is clocking in at just over 5h. All with NT client 3.03, running
under SetiDriver.

I'm close to 10,000 units now, although my PIII 750 m/c blew up a couple of
weeks  back.

I think you can find most of the comparisons for CPU speeds v's OS,
memory, etc, and S@H (CLI V3.03) on the Team Lambchop URL.

Just throwing in others -

1.      My P3 750@840, PC100 SDRAM, Win2K pro, finishes a 0.39-0.55 AR
        WU in 7 hrs 5 mins (SETI Queue stats). VLARs about 30 mins more
        and sweet units 30 mins less;
2. My dual P3 933@033, PC133 SDRAM, Win2K pro, does the same AR WUs
        in 7 hrs 25-35 mins. VLARS - 30 mins more, & HARs 30 mins less;
3. My dual Xeon 2.8@2.8 with HT enabled; DDR PC2100 RAM, WinXP pro,
        does the same AR WUs as follows -

        - running a single CLI 3.03 WU time 2 hrs 15-25 mins. VLARs are
          about 15 mins more, sweet units 15 mins less;
        - running 2 CLI 3.03 units, each locked to a CPU, the WU time is
          3 hours 20-25 mins. VLARs add 30 mins, sweet WUs loose 30 m;
        - running 4 CLI 3.03 units (HT) the WU times are 5 hrs 10-25 m.
          The VLARs and sweet units add and loose 30 mins on these times
