I recently acquired a Dell Precision 610, dual PIII Xeon

possible, and was wondering what other Seti folks have
done in the way of speed-boosting, either with cache or
CPU clock.
Thanks.
I have two similar systems.
At the time of purchase, only 1 XEON was installed in each
system. I added an additional XEON processor (same clock
speed, same stepping, Dell passive heatsink, ...) to one
of those systems. Both processors are detected in the
BIOS setup.
I am running Linux on thar box, but Linux will not run in
dual processor mode. Also generated a custom kernel for
dual processor support ... that kernel will not boot.
Does a hardware diagnostic exist? Where would I find it?
Any other troubleshooting suggestions?
