It could easily be possible that we are the most advanced
 civilization.

Unlikely. There are indications of activity by one or more at least
technically more advanced civilizations nearby. Sometimes in the Earth
atmosphere. It's the so called UFO phenomenon.

I
once read an book by Dr. Issac Asimov which postulated that the moon
is the primary cause of evolution on this planet. We live on a
planet that can be described as a double planet due to the relative
size of the moon. The moon has an enormous influence on the tides.
These tides have thrown sealife at the beaches for eons and probably
speeding evolution up quite

Normal waves did that too.

normal waves? that would be the effect of the Moon on the Earth would it?
I think you would find without the moon the tidal surges would be a great
deal less.
Has the existence of UFO's been proven? the answer is no.
