I`ve just downloaded seti screensaver today. The program, including
the client, seems sluggish. The speed of the data procession is not my
major concern, but for example if I start the client and click on
"help" it takes a real long time for something to happen. I installed
the program on D:\ instead on C:\. Was that wrong?
thanks for your help!
Corinna
A lot will depend on the spec of your computer. If you are running it
all the time on an older machine with too little memory, everything will
slow down.
If you post details of you machine ie Processor, memory it will be
easier to give you a more accurate answer.
As for installing it on your D: drive....No problem.
When or if you get bored of the screensaver version you might consider
changing to the Command Line version. Although it's nothing to look at
it is generally quicker than the screensaver version
