But *can* the Precsion 610 take 1mb/2mb cache Xeons in the first
place?  What kind of CPU upgrade can I do, short of getting
(expensive) Powerleapupgrades?

Also, on the 1Mb and 2Mb L2 cache XEONS, check the "Set Affinity" checkbox
to prevent windows from generating L2 cache reloads.

For a cache, use SETI Driver and set the maximum processes to 2.  If your
XEON processors have 1Mb or more L2 cache, set the maximum processes to 4.
SETI Driver and the SETI Winnt CLI client go in a single folder together.
Set your cache size to at least twice your max processes.
