Yep... Also, mine will get worse when I go for water cooling on the next
upgrade

Why..?

(as was thrashed out many postings ago (:-)). Should'nt get to
be as bad as FalconFly's though!

Yeah,, that would take some doing from my current situation too...

Nice page. Just needs the links enabling. Also, thumbnail pics of all
the 'girls' would be good (;-))

Heh, it's all a single JPEG constructed here with 5 lines of XHTML
'index.html' that I didn't write displaying it. :-)

(Can't critcise too much being as I have not bothered putting up any web
page myself.)

Mine went up about 6 days ago - I thought I might as well put some sort of
page there since I'm using it to serve my avatar, sig and pics on the CPDN
messageboards.

Only one machine still SETIing at the moment because I think Berkeley
has
something of an embarrassment of riches in the computing horsepower
department - I'll likely be back in full swing with BOINC & S@H2,
splitting
my farm between CPDN and SETI...

Yep, and s@h have been remarkably quiet about what's happening. The new
WU production from the tape splitters is at least halved. Also, the same
tapes on the splitters have been listed for the last seven weeks or so.
No updates on the calander page either... I wonder what the WU
redundancy levels are running at?...

I hadn't realised things had tailed off tthat much - a recent post here
about BOINC has a link to some comments by David Anderson that they're using
some of the gear to serve S@H2 Boinc clients - only Sun at the moment but
they're woking on the rest too.

My old backup machine can stay ticking over on s@h for the time being.
Meanwhile, the UK climate prediction looks to be more worthwhile for
spare CPU cycles until s@h get their act together.

Yep - as you've seen I now have six machines on CPDN and only one still
SETIing - I'd probably have switched that one too but it's running
WinServer03 and the CPDN client has issues with that O/S as yet.

Ciao...
