Since the software I use does *not* send notices to infectees of viruses
known to forge the Return-Path and From headers... meaning it sends
notices out to only those who are actually infected... would you rather
the folks who are stupid enough to get infected in the first place just
go on happily sending out the worm?
This software notifies them they have a problem. What the hell is the
problem with that?
In addition - let's set worms aside for a second and look at things like
Macro viruses that infect Word documents. If somebody sends me an
infected Word document, they are notified. In cases like that, why the
heck wouldn't you want to notify them they have a virus?
And finally... it's my email server, I can do whatever I want with it,
neener neener neener. :-)
