That's very ignorant and stupid of you!
Its idiots like you that add to the mess from the infected idiots. The
poor innocent victims of your spamming have every right to blacklist you
and do drastic nastyness to your link.
Now. THINK AGAIN!
Nice.
Since the software I use does *not* send notices to infectees of viruses
known to forge the Return-Path and From headers... meaning it sends
notices out to only those who are actually infected...
And you can be sure that your software is clever enough to know what is
or is not forged or filched?
Manually sending a mail to warn someone known to you to warn them of
whatever problem is fine, good, commendable and for all good people
expected.
Sending what is effectively (miss-directed do-gooder) spam to unknown
strangers is silly and likely an example of your being duped. It adds to
an exponential growth of the problem symptoms.
Meanwhile, the only good of the latest mess is that Microsoft has been
forced to carefully craft an advertisement to try to advertise
themselves positively to point all their users as to how to patch up the
holes.
Don't reply to spam, or any MS infection or other infection.
