Old reviews, definitely... from back right around the release of the
Opteron.
I wonder if 3.08 addressed this or what? I definitely recall reading
per-clock, the Opteron running slower than the Athlon XP on S@H.
Oh well. :-)
Here take a look at our benchmark page, thats my dual opteron box
not overclocked (246's @ 2ghz) up there with the front runners.
Nice thing about the multiple CPU opterons is that they don't suffer
from memory bandwidth starvation like the xeons. So if you run one
WU/cpu they all process around the same time no matter how many cpus
you have :)
