Knowing our luck the file with the E.T's on it is sitting on a hard disk
of someone who lost interest!!

I have done about 23,500 WUs over the past 4.5 years........and don't
worry about files not being processed. Each WU is sent out numerous times.

I've got about 12 PCs on the job:

PII-350  - Linux
PIII-450 - Linux
Celeron 600 - Linux
PIII-500 - Linux
PIII-600EB - Linux
PIII-750 (laptop) - Win98SE
PIII-866 - Linux
AMD 1200+ (800MHz) - Win98SE
AMD 1.4GHz - WinME
AMD 2000+ (1.67GHz) - Linux
2 x AMD 200+ (1.866GHz) - Linux on both.

This lot do about 40WUs / day. As you can see, I switched from Intel to
AMD about 18 months ago because the price/performance ratio was just too
good.

Oh...and i stopped upgrading the Microsoft OS at WinME. As you can see, i
can't afford Windows with this many computers. The Win98SE and WinME
systems are mainly "legacy" boxes for a few of the Kid's games that haven't
been ported to Linux and / or won't run on Transgaming's Linux / Windows
game interface. 

No more Bill's-ware at our house. We can't afford it.
