On a fast computer, it's better top process 2 units at the same time.
My computer:
Pentium 4 2800 overclocked to 2940
512 megs RAM
Windows 2000
Running Windows NT command line version of the SETI client with SETISpy.
1 instance running: 2 1/3 hours per work unit.
2 instances running: 2 2/3 hours per each work unit or 1 1/3 hours per each
unit processed.

(hypothetical) if I had a network of computers for the search is it better
to get each comp to process one unit or the whole network to process one
unit at a time??
