It is a legit program. I've had it running for about 3 months now on
my wifes machine. For some reason Seti kept crashing on her machine so
I found another distrubuted net program.Right now the program is
ananlyzing a cancer research project, phase II. The smallpox was for,
if I remember correctly, the military. You do not get to chose who
the research is for. It is thru United Devices and at least her
computer is doing something 24/7. I would MUCH rather have it doing
Seti, of course, but.....

Sounds bogus to me. There are only a few samples of the Smallpox virus

Just got this in my PC-NEWS inbox, has anybody heard
of this, and they do mention the S@H project as well.

There is already a vacine for smallpox, although a small percentage
of the population can have adverse reactions to it. Most samples
of smallpox are locked away in vaults. Finding it in the wild
is extremely rare. It seems that cures for AIDS and Ebola would be
a more worthwhile project.
