Hello all....
I just installed Mandrake Linux 9.1 on my Laptop.
I'm tottaly new to Linux, but I heard (read) that SETI runs a bit faster on
linux compared to WinXP.
So heres my query.
I run SETI and SETI-Queue on my main comp on winXP, they're connected
together.
How (and what) do I install on the linux laptop so it runs with seti-queue
on my winxp comp,
like I had seti-cmdLine before, when I had winxp on the laptop?
Here's what I had: Main comp: runs WinXP: seti@home win client + SetiQueue
Laptop comp: runs WinXP: seti@home cmd-line
client connected with SetiQueue on Main Comp
Now what I have on Laptop comp: runs Mandrake Linux 9.1
I've got: "Setiathome 3.08.i386-winnt Cmdline.exe", and "seti cmd-line
setup.exe", can I use those?
The second is an automatic setup prog for the cmd-line version with
SetiDriver and SetiSpy.
What (and how) do I do?
Thanks for any help.....
