namely, allowing a single machine on the network to act as a proxy.

A question I posed to David Anderson, as I use just such a set up
(Queue/Driver/Spy over 4 machines. The impression I gained was that
BOINC will carry out these tasks, but five the user greater control of
the network and individual PC (in my case) resources.
