Hello alt.sci.seti,
Reading through the BOINC website, and the posts here, there is something
that I haven't figured out yet about BOINC. Using Linux, I have not been
able to use many other distributive computing projects.
BOINC will be released for many platforms, but do the projects have to be
written independently for each platform? Or will the BOINC interface make
it easy for developers to make simple software that does the processing,
thus, can simply compile it for other platform?
Can I look forward to all, or a majority, of BOINC projects to be available
for the Linux BOINC Client?
