I'm releasing one last major revision of KSetiSpy before SETI@home
transitions to BOINC.
Some of the new features of this version are:
 - group stats (continuing a longtime tradition of copying SETI Spy :-))
 - network transparence: it is now possible to monitor clients through a
variety of network protocols, such as ftp, ssh, sftp, http, webdav, etc.
- DCOP scriptability: you can control some of the functionality of KSetiSpy
remotely from other programs or even the CLI
- support for the windows client: you can now specify different clients for
regular work units and VLARs
- icon themes: the look of KSetiSpy has been improved, and moreover you can
choose between different sets of icons (there are currently two icon themes
available, with a third in preparation)
The bad news is that I didn't have time to throughly test the new features,
so there might still bugs; the good news is that all of the new features
should be ortoghonal to the old functionality, so if something used to work
in version 0.5.x, it should still work now.
I've also expanded some sections of the manual, especially the part about
installation. On the online manual you will also find more details about
these new features.

Finally, there is an important (and long overdue) announcement on the
KSetiSpy site.
