Bugger!! My mis-assumption cost me considerable time over the years. The
Queue set up now enjoyed is fine, and I appreciate it. Pity I did not
try it earlier : ((

Glad I could help. I used to have the same assumption as you did until
someone put me straight on this. I had a mixed environment of 98 and XP
machines on my home LAN and, on the XP machines, always used FAT32 instead
of NTFS for this very reason. Now I use NTFS wherever possible and all's
fine. I can access data on NTFS partitions from the 98 machines.
