Well, that was popular, lol
At least I got the message ;-)

With the impending change-over to the BOINC client I don't think there will
be much done now to the current client software. When we go to BOINC
everyone will start at zero units again anyway. :-( And I have just got a
nice little team going, 29.9 years CPU time between us.

    G'day All,

Just wondering what other SETI users think.

We are all able to earn certificates, based on the amount of work units
that
we complete.
Some of us can't get any more certificates because of the massive
amounts
of
units completed.
Some of us only can manage a few certificates. (My father is close to
his
250 certificate after 2 years crunching - 2 units/week).

I think that it would be really great if Teams were able to earn
certificates as well, that way, the slower amongst us can enjoy the
higher
totals by being part of the team, a greater sense of achievement,
through
a
collective.

If there is enough positive response & if the powers that be at Berkeley
read this thread, it might come to be.
It isn't hard to make happen, & there would be a negligible affect to
the
to
the resources & bandwidth.

Brian
4516 units
