Yeah, ditch KaZaA and have DiskKeeper running on a schedule, not
continuously.

Take a look at the task manager. Something else is consuming CPU time.
The
task manager's processes tab will show you what it is.

I have been running SETI for about a few years over four different
machines.
My current one is based on the Athlon 2000+ running Windoze XP Pro.
On a clean install, A unit would take 4Hrs to do, now after adding SP1
and
loads of other progs, its up to 10Hrs. How can I get my speed back?
