XP's OS ID is Windows NT 5.1.  Windows 2000 is Windows NT 5.0.  Windows 2000
at least had the decency to tell you it was NT during boot. ("Built on
Windows NT Technology" or something similar)

I've got a new pc and it's WinXP OS does anyone know which cmd-line
version
runs on XP as the  i386-winnt-cmdline it doesn't say it does!
