You might try and connect to a public queue and see if that helps.
I use Seti Queue and it seems to be working fine. Maybe because you
are overseas from Berkeley and I am just across the US.

Could it be a bad unit that needs to be cleared?

My backlog is now 6 units and counting.

Just to answer my own post, have had a look to see if it was the 100 error but
does not seem to be my prob, have renamed the work dir and started a new
cache and unit off afresh and will see what happens after the unit is
finished.
