Hi people
I was wondering if you can give me a guide to a couple of small problems
I have with SETI Queue?
The first is Queue seems to randomly disable itself.
I have logged in as the administrator and re-enabled Queue 3 times over
the last 2 weeks. Has anyone any idea why this happens, or what triggers
it?
The second, which is coincidental with the Queue disabling itself today,
is a WU which Queue thinks is on one of the PCs on my small farm, and
now 10s of hours overdue (in the red).
The PC in question is a 4 year old single CPU Coppermine (1 WU only run
at all times - the CLI). Queue thinks it is still on the PC, which has
crunched 2 others.
Queue indicates this machine has 2 WUs running at the same time. SETI
Driver on this machine shows a cache of 1 WU, crunching 1 WU and nothing
else.
How can I get Queue to "loos" this ghost WU, and so reset properly?
Looking forwards to some knowledgeable offerings.
Kind regards
John
