I did not memtion that I tried two different ISP, Bellsouth and
EarthLink, and are still failing this morning. I have not tried
a public SetiQueue, that might work for you. since Seti@home got
the large ISP pipe, I have not neede to use a publ;ic SetiQueue.

Good Luck.

Thanx Cliff

If you have seen the rest of the threads on this post it has boiled down to
this one computer, the other on network runs and submits fine, I can even
move the completed units from this machine to the other and it will send the
results.

Somewhere amongst the string and chewingum holding this O/S together something
has gone wrong, I have even configured a new user with and d/loaded a new
client and unit but on completion it still will not send but move the result
to another machine and it goes.

never mind this version of Suse has gone well past it`s sell by date now and
have Suse 9 on order ( should be here early next week ) and a clean drive to
install onto so hopefully all will be well :)

Funny I thought if might be the firewall but the actual client connects to
seti and seti responds but no upload only download, all other net activity
works fine, news, mail, browsing and online games work ok just not the send
of seti.

Go figure......
