Hey all,
As of 1 a.m. CST Oct. 27th I have started getting an "Unknown Fatal
Error:
100" when attempting to send in finished WU's that shut downs my SETI
3.08 client.
A server check on the SETI website indicates their servers are fully
operation.
I've run SETI for over three years with no problems, this current
machine
has run the client for 7 months with no problems. Running XP Pro w/
No new patches or installations lately.
Anyone else have this problem or any idea's?
Check your user_info.sah file for a bad userID field. Chances are it got
corrupted. If you have a backup, use it, if not erase it and it will be
created for you.
I'm losing track of how many of these things I have.
Strangely enough as the return process is automated, it has returned
some that were giving error 100.
Last night I noticed this machine was trying to return the same unit
every few minutes and getting an error 100.
I had to go out to the shop and figured I'd look into it when I came
back in. About an hour later all units had been returned.
Now, over the next day or two all of the ones in question should show
up.
