suggested and it certainly makes sense though I admit I still have

... however, that is also influenced by OS. Linux is
affected much less than Windoze. There may be other coding
in the WU's that affects processing time. If you use SETIspy
(What! you're not <g>), you may notice that the number of FFTs
varies. At least, that is what I remember ... but can't
verify that at this time.
