i'm running gnu linux (with 2.2 kernel & libc-2.1)
on one of my old box (arch i586 PIII)

it seems for the previous version (3.03) there was the client binary
(i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1) what exactly fits to my box,
but it has been retired on 2003-04-08

it seems the only choice is i686-pc-linux-gnu (3.08) now
but it is dynamically linked against glibc-2.2

.. so running ./setiathome returns me the error:
/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.2' not found


hmmm... do i missing something simple?



PS. changing the essential libraries isn't a good option
    for that box, because it's running and doing his job
    perfectly (for which it was tuned years ago)...
