previous post. Perhaps that's because I wasn't responding to you.
And the original topic WAS the assertion by Twisted Hardware that a
hyperthreaded processor would only be 50% utilized by a single task,
and therefore that you needed to process two work units in order to
get 100% utilization.
That WAS baloney, that REMAINS baloney, and that was my only assertion.
I supported it with two citations -- one of them from Intel.
Now who is it that is doing the hijacking again?
