Check for heat-related issues -- with PC OFF and unplugged, 
open the case and check for: 

	case fan -- dust accumulation, obstruction

	processor fan -- same

	power supply (exhaust) fan -- same

With case open, turn power on and visually check that all 
fans are operating.  

Let us know what you see.
