Speaking of which, is there a pre-compiled command-line version that will
run under XP on a P3 and a P4 processor, with reasonable instructions on how
to "set it and forget it" as a system process? I don't have any compilers
for Winblows, I only use these two machines for running software that just
is not available for Linux.

All of my Linux machines, 32 and 64-bit, run SETI as a background task, any
user but the admin doesn't even know it's there. They are blazingly fast,
even the old Alpha 650's far outpace my P4-1800 running the graphical
version.
