I cannot say I am a informed on any thing about Solaris, yet I have a PC
that was acting slow and having problems. It finally just stopped in its
tracks. I found that the CPU or Memory had a connection problem by
re-inserting them a few times. There have been a number of times I have
gotten machines to start working again be putting WD40 on various
questionable connections and working them a few times. Not consider proper
by most techs, due to the concern about dirt collecting in any oil. But I
have yet to notice any such problem occurring.

I have been getting "program corrupted" errors under solaris 2.6 and
2.8.
I've tried using direct connects and proxys, but the result is the
same. It gets and crunches the blocks, but craps out when sending
results. I have had this problem on Sun 420R/480/E4500/E5500/E6500
under 2.6 and 2.8.
The kicker is it all worked a year ago. Any ideas what could be
happening? I'll try anything at this point.
