Checked most out with SamSpade after downloading it most came back just it
the ip block.  some came from blacklisted ip's already.  Most used an
envelope for return addies whatever that means.

And as to how to seek revenge for the time they have wasted for you...
Well, it all depends on how much more time you want to waste in tracking
them down...


The best solution is to just delete the crap. No replies, no bounces,
nothing... Just as in 'stealth' mode.

True true but some days I think your last suggestion was best

Then invest in the time and software to automatically junk the crap.


Longer term, harass your political contacts to impress them on how bad a
problem spam is. Perhaps in a few years time, something effective may
come about.

Try an ISP that does the crap filtering for you.


(Or just nuke that one American spammers town that has made a name for
itself (:-))
