A couple of minutes ago, SETIMonitor finished a WU and the system locked up.  I'm going to find some other program to cache and run the work units.

I'm also going to put the cover on this machine and see if it runs cooler.  I never thought that having the case open would make it run hotter.  (gee after all these years)  Thanks for the heads-up.

PCs are designed to run with the case closed.  Airflow is important.  If you
need to run with the case open, blow cool (room temperature) air directly on
the CPU.

Microsoft probably didn't write this.  APC writes their own software for
their UPS boxes.
