Hello Byron, hello Alfred (good to see you're still around :)
When I installed BOINC it just sat there for an hour or so. With all the
hickups on the network, I decided to try the following:
Under the Project tab, right click on BOINC (or Astopulse) and select
'Reset project'. It then proceeded with downloading workunits and
started crunching.
Mine was the same, I had told it when setting up to always run,
but on the menu it said "run based on preferences", I just clicked
on "run always" from the menu and it started working? Apart from
that it seems good so far, I even like the new graphics bit. Right
click on the current unit being processed and select "show graphics"
and you get a spinning 3D version o f the old GUI, probably slows
it down a lot like the old GUI, but its pretty when listening to music!
